The press conference took place in New York City. Its ostensible purpose was for Trump to announce that his two sons would take control of his business interests whilst he is president.

Trump clashed with journalists during the press conference. Questions were asked about Russian interference in the election and about conflicts of interest confronting Trump.

Trump will be sworn in as the 45th President on January 20.
