Following an announcement by John Howard that the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Alexander Downer, would make a statement to Parliament on Iraq, the Opposition Leader, Simon Crean, commented on the government’s handling of the issue.
Downer’s statement will begin a full parliamentary debate on war with Iraq.
