As tensions continue to mount of the ALP leadership, the former leader, Kim Beazley, has held a press conference.
Beazley relinquished the leadership following his defeat at the 2001 federal election. He was succeeded by Simon Crean, a former President of the Australian Council of Trade Unions and a minister in the Hawke and Keating governments.
