Viewed, trained by Bart Cummings and ridden by Blake Shinn, has won the 2008 Melbourne Cup at Flemington.
In a photo-finish, Viewed edged out Bauer by a nose. C’est La Guerre was third.
It is Bart Cummings’ 12th Melbourne Cup victory.
