The data on this page provides information on the membership of each House of Representatives since 1901.
The table shows each parliament since 1901, the youngest and oldest members of the House at the time of election, and the ages of the last and second-last surviving members. The party each member belonged to at the time of that parliament’s election is shown, as are the dates of birth and death of the member.
All the members of the first eighteen parliaments (1901-1949) are deceased, as are all members of the 21st, 22nd and 23rd parliaments. Each of the 24th to 47th parliaments have members still living. No parliament has all its members still living.
The table contains links to pages with a full list of members for each parliament.

NOTES:
1. Whilst 22-year-old Edwin Corboy was the youngest member of the 7th Parliament (1917-19), entering at a by-election in 1918, the youngest member elected at the May 1917 election was 30-year-old Arthur Blakeley (Darling-NSW, ALP).
2. Whilst 25-year-old Graham Pratten was the youngest member of the 10th Parliament (1925-28), entering at a by-election in 1928, the youngest member elected at the November 1925 election was 33-year-old Percy Coleman (Reid-NSW, ALP).
3. Whilst I have denoted John West as the oldest member of the 10th Parliament (1925-28), it is possible that the title belongs to Edward Corser (Wide Bay-Qld, Nationalist), whose precise birthday in 1852 is unknown.
4. Whilst 32-year-old Eddie Ward was the youngest member of the 12th Parliament (1929-31), entering at a by-election in 1931, the youngest member elected at the October 1929 election was 35-year-old Charles Hawker (Wakefield-SA, Nationalist).
5. Whilst 27-year-old Harold Holt was the youngest member of the 14th Parliament (1934-37), entering at a by-election in 1935, the youngest member elected at the September 1934 election was 30-year-old William Hutchinson (Indi-Vic, UAP).
5. Whilst 28-year-old Adrian Gibson was the youngest member of the 25th Parliament (1963-66), entering at a by-election in 1964, the youngest member elected at the November 1963 election was 30-year-old Bill Hayden (Oxley-Qld, ALP).
