Steven Miles, Premier of Queensland
Steven Miles became Premier of Queensland on December 15, 2023, following the retirement of Anastacia Palaszczuk, who had been premier since February 14, 2015.
Under Palaszczuk, the Queensland ALP won three elections, each time with an increased majority. Miles faces an uphill battle to secure a fourth term at the election on October 26, 2024.
