President Barack Obama has spoken from the White House on the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords in Arizona a few hours ago.
Giffords, 40 years old, is in her third term as the Democratic Party representative of Arizona’s 8th District in the House of Representatives. She was one of 18 people shot by a gunman in Tuscon, Arizona. At least 5 people have died, including a 9-year-old child and a Federal judge. Giffords was shot in the head.
