The Impeachment Of President Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton became the second president to be impeached when the House of Representatives passed two articles of impeachment in December 1998.

A Senate trial took place in January and February, 1999. Clinton was acquitted of both charges. He remained in office until the expiration of his term on January 20, 2001.
